Among Gaudí’s wonderful masterpieces and the vibrant atmosphere of Las Ramblas, the second Transnational Project Meeting of the AI-NYELV project took place in Barcelona on 18 and 19 May 2026.
Hosted by the Universitat de Barcelona (UB), one of the project partners, the meeting brought together the AI-NYELV consortium for two intensive and inspiring days of exchange, reflection and planning. Partners had the opportunity to discuss the progress of the project activities, share ideas, analyse the results achieved during the first year of implementation and define the next steps for the upcoming project phases.
The meeting represented an important moment of dialogue and collaboration, allowing the partnership to strengthen its common vision and further consolidate an already close-knit and motivated working group. Particular attention was dedicated to the activities related to the development of project results, the dissemination of the first outcomes, and the planning of the next tasks, with the aim of ensuring a coherent and effective continuation of the work.
These two days in Barcelona were also marked by satisfaction and pride in the results already achieved so far. The partners had the opportunity to reflect on the progress made during the first year of the project and to renew their shared commitment to exploring the impact of Artificial Intelligence on foreign language learning, teaching, translation and interpreting in Higher Education.
The Barcelona meeting confirmed the strong cooperation among the partners and provided new energy and motivation to continue working together towards the next objectives of the AI-NYELV project.
