AI-NYELV Project Presented at the Conference “AI in Writing Pedagogy: Shaping Instruction in a Changing Landscape”
This week, our AI-NYELV project travelled to Sweden, more precisely to Västerås, at Mälardalen University, where the conference “AI in Writing Pedagogy: Shaping Instruction in a Changing Landscape” took place on 17–18 June.
Thanks to Professor Christine Fredriksson from the University of Gothenburg, our project partner, AI-NYELV was presented within this important academic context dedicated to the role of artificial intelligence in writing and teaching practices. The presentation included a demonstration of our project website and, in particular, of the gallery dedicated to artificial intelligence tools for language learning and teaching.
The gallery is becoming a practical and accessible resource for teachers, students, translators and interpreters, offering a clear overview of the features, functionalities and possible educational applications of the different tools analysed. By helping users better understand how AI tools can support language education, the gallery is fully aligned with the current debate on the use of artificial intelligence in learning and teaching. Perfectly connected with the topic of the conference, the gallery attracted great interest among the participants, confirming the relevance and timeliness of the work we are carrying out within the AI-NYELV project.
We are very happy that the project continues to travel, to become more visible, and to create opportunities for dialogue with the international academic community.
